Published in The Knot

Very exciting news - had my first published image hit the newsstands last week. Its on page 28 of the Fall/Winter issue (these wedding mags have to be thinking months ahead) of The Knot - Boston. Mine is the image on the bottom right of Amanda and Adam from their wedding last August - 8/8/08. And they used some of my tips on photos locales as well. Of course, they say I'm based in Cambridge, not Somerville, but I'm at least happy they spelled my name right. Thats always tricky.

Playgroup Shoot

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of being invited by Shaina to photograph little Emma's playgroup. It was a ton of fun and a lot of work - there were a few crawlers in the group and I ended up crawling them all over the place to try get the right angles and capture the best shots. We started inside but since the weather was so nice and the flowers were blooming we headed out to the backyard and got some cool images out there as well. Then everyone got tired and started crying (not me, I don't think). And that was all she wrote.
