On Display in Davis Square

I currently have 8 of my nature & travel images hanging in the public art space just outside of the CVS in Davis Square. The spot is right by the Somerville Theatre and pretty much in the center of Davis so my work should get some good exposure. The display will continue through the end of July, so if you're in the area in the near future please stop, take a look, enjoy, and let me know what you think.

U2 Comes to Town

The Boston area has been buzzing the last few weeks with the news that U2 was planning a visit and concert in a small, intimate venue. But the location was top secret. The Paradise? House of Blues? Nope, in the end it was Somerville Theatre right here in my back yard - Davis Square. And folks were out and about hoping to catch a glimpse of Bono, The Edge, and company. I saw no rock stars, mostly cops and news trucks, but you could tell something big was upon us.

The local businesses were feeling the vibe:

Davis Square Art

Last spring I was lucky enough to have this Davis Square street scene chosen to be part of a permanent installation on display down on the platform in the Davis Square T station. They chose my image along with the work of several other local artists to create a more vibrant feel within the station. Here is an article describing the project and unveiling ceremony. If you ever find yourself in Davis and waiting for a train take a look around, check out the art, and give some love to my photo.
