Exciting news - for the second year in a row I've had one of my photos place in the annual Brides Magazine photo contest. Took a 5th place in the customs & culture category for this shot from Olga and Matt's wedding that was up in Vermont last summer. Its certainly a cool moment with them being held up on the chairs, but I think its really the emotion and look on their faces that takes the image to another level. Sort of a combination of joy mixed with "I really hope they don't drop me". Not always easy to capture the peak moment of emotion, but its what I strive for in my work and its really nice to have it recognized when it comes together.
